Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

"Bristol SU", "We", "Our", "Ours" and "Us" refers to the University of Bristol Students' Union Ltd., the legal entity supporting the Stage Technicians' Association, a Bristol SU society who operate this website. Bristol SU is a charity, registered in England and Wales, with company number 6977417 and charity number 1139656.

"You" means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission.

"Terms" refers to these terms and conditions.

2. Contract and Incorporation

These Terms apply as an agreement between You, the user of this Web Site and Us, the owner and provider of this Web Site. These Terms apply to your use of the Web Site and any Services or Systems therein.

Use of this Web Site is subject to agreement with the following Terms.

3. Purchase of Tickets

Tickets are supplied electronically in the form of a Booking Reference which must be shown at the Box Office or entrance to gain entry to the event. Your Booking Reference is emailed to you when you purchase a ticket, and can also be seen on your "My Account" page

All tickets are for General Admission and specific seats may not be reserved, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Tickets purchased may be subject to a booking fee(s). Check the total amount before proceeding with payment. Some shows also include a Theatre Improvement Levy which provides a valuable source of funding to theatre maintenance and improvements at Bristol SU.

4. Problems with Booking

In the unlikely event that you have paid but not received your Booking Code, please inform the Site Administrators on [email protected]. Use this address for any queries or issues relating to the Web Site and its component services.

5. Refund Policy

We cannot exchange, refund, transfer or return tickets unless the event in question is cancelled or details of the event are significantly changed (for example, show time, venue, date etc).

On occasions where an event is officially cancelled we'll contact you via the email address you gave us when registering. We'll then offer you the choice of a refund or, where available, tickets to the rescheduled event.

6. Right of Admission

Right of admission to any Bristol SU venue is at the discretion of the Front-of-House Manager. The Front-of-House Manager has the right to eject persons from the venue who are acting in a disruptive, overly intoxicated or threatening manner. A refund will not be made in such a situation.

Right of admission to any non-Bristol Students' Union venue is at the discretion of the venue manager there.

7. Customer Obligation

UOB Theatre is a vendor of tickets for amateur performances in venues staffed by volunteers. Mistakes can be made on occasion. Information is believed to be correct at time of publication. Your patience is appreciated. Thank you!

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under English law.
